New jewelry artists at (shoo) Madison!

Hey hey people!! (shoo) Madison has recently gotten some great new jewelry pieces from local artists for our showcases!Leda Rawlins is the newest addition to our collection and an artist from Madison. Her pieces are intricate and beautiful and range from being made with materials such as Sworoski crystals to Bohemian Czech glass. Many of her necklaces have hand-made, one-of-a-kind, enamel pendents that are eye stopping.

Laurie Shovers is a Milwaukee artist and all of her jewelry is hand made. Not only does she hand make all of her pieces, she makes all of her own beads too!! Her work has a Southwest feel to it that is fun and funky, just like us at (shoo)! The last of the new additions to the (shoo) family is Teresa Faris. Faris is a Madison resident and her pieces have a simple and clean feel to them. Although they have the clean and fresh feel they are actually very intricate, some of her pieces are inspired by Tibetan prayer scrolls!

Stop in and check out our great new artists and all of the new shoes from summer we have been getting in weekly!

From Catwalk to Sidewalk

These lovely new sandals by Corso Como at (shoo) show how you can make looks from the runways translate to your feet. With their fantastic attention to detail, these sandals will help you stay cool and stylish all summer long.

The first new sandal is the ever-adorable and appropriately named Felony by Corso Como. We've seen ruffles become a major trend in the last year (I'm looking at you, Oscar de la Renta and Valentino) and now Corso Como has done it with leather. Three perfectly ruched ruffles cascade down the sandal making this baby both sexy and uber feminine.

This has also been a great year for statement jewelry. Chunky and sometimes over the top jewelry has been spotted on the runways of Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana and sooooo many more. Again, Corso Como has taken this trend and made it wearable and appropriate for the everyday. Just look at this option called Fossol:

Finally, we have St. Pete, a bead-encrusted earth goddess sandal that plays with the tribal trend we've seen grace the runway of Rodarte. Again, Corso Como has made this trend more wearable and accessible. Thanks, Corso!

I think it's safe to say that no matter which Corso Como sandal you choose, you'll be right in line with today's fashions. Corso Como, you're a genius.

In the Nude

No, (shoo) did not become a nudist company. We're talking about nude shoes, silly! Did you know that not only do nude shoes go with everything in your wardrobe, but they make your legs look longer too? By blending in with your skintone, nude colored shoes visually continue your leg all the way down to the tip of your toe. No longer will you be cut off at the ankles by shoes in other colors.

Check out three of the nude shoe options we have available.

First up is a super comfortable nude t-strap pump from Neosens. Walking in this shoe, called Vanity, is an experience! They ultra cushioned footbed provides a relaxing stride.

Next is this dazzler from Hispanitas. This cute t-strap uses different shades of nude, ensuring that the shoe blends in perfectly with lots of skintones!

Finally, we have this knockout from Pikolinos. This nude stunner has beautiful cut-outs and the heel has great details!

Ladies show off those gams and fake a few extra inches of uninterrupted height with a pair of nude shoes! You won't be disappointed!

Wedges, and stitching, and Summer - Oh My!

Although the combination of these colors are reminiscent of Christmas, there is nothing wintery about our latest arrival of wedge slingbacks from Fly London. Drive (pictured below) is made of red leather and has a continuous stitching detail that runs along the sling back strap, 3 inch heel, and across the instep.

The stitching details continue to the other arrival Prit ( pictured below). This style, which comes in green or yellow leather, has a distinct buckle, and pinched seams across the instep. Altough this 4 inch chunky wedge heel may be a bit intimidating at first the combination of a 1 inch platform, and paded footbed provides the support and comfort needed for all your summer time activities!

New from h(om)e!!

We just got in a variety of new pieces from h(om)e! Each piece is completely unique and hand-made. The designer uses recycled leather from luxury vehicles, furniture, and leather distributors to create her master pieces of wearable art. Each bag, wallet, and wristlet range in their size, shape, and color making every one different.

The wombotron bag is huge and can be used for all uses. It is big enough to be a weekend bag and sturdy enough to carry all of your books and papers in.
The ley wristlet is great for taking out with you at night because the metal hardware is sturdy around your wrist to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. You can also remove the loop and throw it in a bigger bag.

This large bag is great for any use and it's stylish too!

How cute would you look taking this wallet out of your purse? Our answer: super cute!! The closure is sturdy so none of your valuables will fall out.
